The Solana Phantom wallet is an all-in-one decentralized finance (DeFi) wallet that is gaining popularity as the Solana ecosystem expands. Many individuals, however, wonder, “What is the Phantom wallet doing that is different?” Phantom allows users to store cryptocurrencies and non-fungible tokens (NFTs), as well as receive passive income from idle assets.
Instructions on how to use and create Phantom Wallet in the Chrome extension
Step 1: Visit the website here: https://www.phantom.app. Choose “Add to Chrome or any other browser you want“:
Step 2: Pin the app to the browser, in the top and left corners of the browser page
Step 3: Proceed to creating a wallet
Select the Phantom icon in the browser extension. Then proceed with the interface as follows Select “Create New Wallet” to create a new wallet. If you already have a Phantom wallet, you can restore the wallet and select “Use secret recovery phrase”.
Step 4: You will then get 12 keywords.
This is the secret key phrase to restore the wallet. You push “Copy” to save this key phrase in another file. Or write it down on paper to keep.
* Note: This key phrase is extremely important. Do not share this key phrase with anyone or lose this key phrase as if you lost your wallet.
Then choose “OK, I saved it somewhere”
Step 5: Create a password.
This password is used to quickly unlock the wallet and sign transactions.Then click “save”
